Michelle Palmer, D.M.D., M.S. is a highly experienced and skilled orthodontist who was born and raised in Longwood, FL. Her goal every day is to create beautiful, life-changing smiles while getting to know each patient and familly personally. To help provide the best service in South Florida, she continues to stay up to date with the latest orthodontic technology and techniques. Dr. Palmer is also a member of many professional organizations, such as the American Association of Orthodontists, Southern Association of Orthodontists, Florida Association of Orthodontists and South Florida Association of Orthodontists.
Dr. Palmer attends several study clubs with other dental professionals to maintain peer relationships, learn about new techniques, and go over treatment planning in multi-specialty cases. As a Gold Plus Invisalign Provider, she participates in many continuing education courses courses to learn about the newest in digital technology and clear aligner orthodontics. She wants to provide her patients with the best and most affordable solutions for their needs.
Dr. Palmer recieved a Bachelor's degree from the University of Florida, graduating Cum Laude with a major in Mathematics. She earned her Doctorate of Dental Medicine degree at the prestigious Nova Southeastern University's College of Dentistry. She graduated Magna Cum Laude and was also inducted into the prestigious Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor Society.
Following her dream to become an orthodontist, Dr.Palmer completed her orthodontic residency at Nova Southeastern University, earning a Certifcate in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics and a Master of Science in Dentistry. During her orthodontic training, Dr. Palmer performed research regarding orthodontic treatment outcomes according to the American Board of Orthodontic standards.
Beyond her clinical expertise, Dr. Palmer has the unique ability to relate to her patients, whether they are children, teens, or adults. She is a competent, careful practitioner as well as direct, articulate, very approachable, and a great listener. She is also fluent in Spanish.
She started dancing when she was two years old, and though she stopped during dental school, it’s something she will always do. She also enjoys going to the gym, learning how to cook new things, going to the movies, and finding new and exciting restaurants.
Maintaining a strong foundation with her family and friends is important to her too. Dr. Palmer “pays it forward” and offers help through the Junior League of Boca Raton. She does community service in the Boca Raton and Delray Beach area, mostly with children who are less fortunate. She also volunteers with activities at her church and helps collect supplies for back-to-school backpacks, shoes, and toy drives. She loves to help people and give back to the community.
